Gabe Wong

Gabriel Wong is an artist and architect of Chinese descent. Born and raised in Central America, he developed a peculiar sense of awe and appreciation for the fauna and flora of the tropics. Gabriel runs his own architecture firm and combines

his career with his art, whilst simultaneously being active in academia for over a decade. His work is eclectic. It draws inspiration from architecture, with Asian influences and tropical roots: a reflection of his story, and of cultural encounters between East and West. Throughout his artistic career, Gabe has had the opportunity to collaborate with brands such as Montblanc, Nike, and Boeing. He has served as the scribe for the churches of Panama City, creating historical records signed by Pope Francis. He has participated in biennials such as BIENALSUR 2021 and the Beijing Biennial 2022. His art has been gifted to heads of state and is present in private collections on all five continents.
